Abstract
The economic base determines the social, political, cultural, and institutional superstructure. Therefore, the economic situation of a state tends to determine certain human behaviors, including criminal behavior at the level of companies. It is found both in areas of maximum prosperity and poverty [1]. Over the last two decades, the evolution of corporate criminality has moved from a niche technique to a global strategic priority, situated at the intersection of technology, economy, geopolitics, and civil society. Threats evolve faster than defense mechanisms. For the purpose of implementing the conditionalities of the National Regulatory Plan for 2025, in the context of aligning the legislation of the Republic of Moldova with that of the European Union, the main objective of the state is the consolidation and alignment of national legislation with relevant international standards. This represents an essential necessity for the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union and for ensuring fair and efficient justice.
